In general, the themes that are treated by the INFO-RENOVATION service of the Centre Urbain concern the maintenance and renovation of the buildings (when an appeal to the architect is not legally bound). These themes are presented on our website: - technical problems, architectural solutions, priority works, eco-renovation - financial aid to private persons: subsidies - urban development permits and regulations - technical norms and regulations - the revaluation of neighbourhoods - the relations with the professionnals from the building sector : architect, building contractor, estimate - the purchase of a house, mainly the regional aid - the rent and the housing code (technical aspects )

Our information and renovation advice center Info Renovation is open to every inhabitant of Brussels or to everyone who wants to establish oneself in Brussels.
Our Info Center Sound Insulation is also open to every inhabitant of Brussels who wishes to rectify problems of noise nuisance in his house, and looking for technical advice.

Within the frame of the neigbourhood contracts , the Centre Urbain also guides the inhabitants of the neigbourhoods Van Artevelde (1000 Brussels) and Palais Outre-Ponts (1020 Brussels) in their renovation steps.
A provisional financing of the renovation subsidy is also proposed to the owners-occupiers of the perimeter of the neighbourhood contract Van Artevelde.

All these services are free.
