Information about the Brussels Heritage

Under the title "The daily heritage ", the Centre Urbain revalues since about fifteen years the architecture in the Brussels streets, houses and buildings that define the urban character .

The Heritage service of the Centre Urbain, supported by the Direction des Monuments et des Sites of the Brussels Regional Capital since 1998, has conducted incitement campaigns in order to maintain the patrimony, and has started several projects of urban embellishment. It has set up and assures the updating of the Répertoire des métiers du patrimoine (directory of patrimony craftsmen). It offers an information service and specialized advice to private persons. This service gives an answer to the practical questions that occur with the preservation of a property of architectural interest.
