The "Info Energy" service

The Brussels Energy Agency (ABEA)

 

 

The ABEA, active since 1996, is a department of the Centre Urbain asbl, that has the assignment to guide the inhabitants of the Brussels Region in their controlling of their energy consumption by the Rational Use of Energy and the use of Renewable Energies in their house.
It informs and counsels the citizens in all their problems and technical choices in order to reduce their energy consumption without losing their comfort.
The ABEA is supported in its assignment of sensitization by the Minister in charge of energy and the IBGE-BIM .

The Agence proposes:

• advice through thematic brochures about insulation, heating, low-energy light bulbs, use of solar panels and the rational use of energy
• technical support in insulation, in the choice and dimensionning of the heating, in renewable energy, in low-energy electrical appliances and in efficient frames and windows
• information about the energy subsidies in the Brussels Region and the current regulations
• specialized advice within the frame of the Info-Energy desk
• a technical and methodological support of the project and the sensitization campaign.
