FORUM - on Energy and schools, on Friday the 3th of March 2006 in Brussels.
This forum named « Energy-Smart Schools » focuses on strategies of energy saving in schools, trough a closer look at the school building, mobility issues, energy attitudes of it's users and it's energy use as a learning tool. We want to show how the classroom can be an ideal starting point for energy projects in schools. The forum want to reflect on how the latest energy efficiency, sustainable design, mobility concepts and renewable energy technologies can be used both to improve educational opportunities and increase the performance of the school buildings. The forum is aimed at educators, school administrators, facilities professionals, environmental associations and architects. This forum is organized in the framework of the Soustenergy project, under the Interreg IIIc program.
